Saint Theresita Church

During my stay in Tinglayan of Kalinga, I never tried to visit the church. The Saint Theresita Church is located in the heart of Poblacion. I am not saying that I lost contact with our God. It just happen that I cannot understand the wordings that the priest preaches in the church. Since the medium of dialect used in "Ilokano", I could only speak basic phrases of this dialect. If I attend the said mass in the church, it would make me insane to comprehend the messages from the local priest.

Native Pigs in Tinglayan

          Traveling to different places in the Philippines, it is for sure that native pigs are not always to be seen.  Luckily, I had the moment of seeing the native pigs along the road going to Tinglayan, Kalinga. They are like stray dogs with no fear of walking along the main roads. 

          Some people claimed that a wild boar’s meat is tasty. It is uncommonly visible in the cities; perhaps importing them would be possible. I won’t be surprised if I brought native pigs at home. I like the idea; they are so adorable eating the grasses at the backyard.
