The
Summer Capital of the Philippines was once called a "ghost
city", in commemorate to the earthquake last July 16, 1990. A
tragedy that lost the lives of many people, main roads were closed
going to Baguio City. In spite of this, the city had the speedy
recovery from the tragic earthquake. In connection to this, TV Patrol
Baguio 25th Anniversary made them installed a monument to acknowledge
the residents of the city to overcome the said tragedy. This can be
seen at the left side, facing the main entrance of Melvin Jones.
The blog was basically for the things that I've seen as part of my new world experience. Let me join you to a time travel of my life journey.

Soccer for Fun
When I was a kid, I always overheard a teenager next to our house.
He was with the other player of football, it was a school-routine time off for
them to burn calories in Melvin Jones . Nowadays, the place was used for soccer
field. Some Koreans made their fun time to play soccer every weekends here.
Some other activities can be seen in this field, the ever famous "Panagbenga
Festival" as celebrated annually on the month of February. It was the
original site to showcase the street dance, drum-and-lyre contest and among
other events. But then, it was moved the venue officially to Athletic Bowl. You
can reach this area, passing through Burnham Park.
