A Legwork at the Park

I am on my way to Baguio Convention Center to attend the press release of VSO Bahaginan, to invite aspiring skilled volunteers to developing countries last June 2012. Riding a Trancoville jeepney from Harrison Road, dropping off in front of University Cordillera. I walked and crossed towards Baguio Museum in Gov. Pack Road. At the back of this museum, you can sight Sunshine's Park, wherein I decided to walk along the garden of this park, some UP Baguio students were having their dance practice at the platform on stage. Since the park is adjacent to their school, just in front Baguio Convention Center.

Dragon in the Church

You might be amazed to see dragons in Bell Church, spot the area as you go along the way to La Trinidad. As you enter the gateway of the church, you'll find the other remnants of Chinese pagoda, golden buddha, wishing wells and the church itself.

Don Bosco Church

Last 1st of July 2012, the family, relatives and close friends gathered for the christening of our little princess. It was real celebration, especially for our dear parents as they see their granddaughter had her baptism in Don Bosco Church; a memorable place, whereas my  siblings and I had our baptism in this sacred church too.  

Lourdes Grotto

          A morning glory on top of the hill, where you can find the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes as established by the Spanish Jesuits in 1907. The shrine is situated in Dominican Road of Baguio City, where you can ride a jeepney in Kayang Street, a taxi cab or private light vehicle to sight this place. As the vehicle pass through the main road of Naguillian, you can also see the St. Vincent Church.

         If you walked through the steepest of the hill can be exhausting, but that's a part of believers' penitential act. From the highest point of the hill, you can overlook the significant areas in the city. 

       At the base of the stair path uphill, you can make purchase of some items to keep you remind of the place. Or rather, let the forefinger click the button of you digicam to capture the moment. You may consider taking photos at the side of holy ground,  wearing native costumes for not more than Php 10.00 ($0.24).
