In spring season, the people in
Tajikistan were so busy for the celebration of Navruz. It is celebrated in five
days from all over the places in this country. The biggest holiday celebrates
with the preparation of stalls, the musical plays of their instruments or dance
festivity in the park.
My co-volunteers in that
placement were invited to celebrate the Navruz day last 20th of
March 2011, in Dushanbe. We had the fun time to practically experience the
celebration with the local people. Seeing the heritage costumes and the actual
cooking of the staple rice "osh" on the big pot in the yard, the
people shared the local delicacy with pried on their faces. It is the day for
socialization with the colleagues and friends.
