Review:
The film had shown the typical vampire thirsts with the human blood. The manners of chilling out of your wit, watching every scene portrayed by the lead actors are convincing to terminate the vampires. Stella Oleson (Melissa George) acted effectively as she has the determination to find the truth of what makes the vampires killed people in a small town in Alaska. The lost of his husband Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), she had the will to brought into open book to people, the awareness of the existence of the vampires.
Although the plot pictured in the film are numerous. The scenes are so simple to quest against the vampires. The horrific action style of Melissa was convincing, especially the mixed emotions of fear, anger and the adrenaline rush of combating the creatures. The other lead actors had shown their portrayal, it is a good performance outshine by the lead actress.
It is kindly strange that the scene seems so terrified for the viewers. Though the plot seems so dull with no life, the unexpected attacks of vampire can catch your attention. But the chill will not last after the scene. For some reason, when all the cast had died in the film and Melissa was left by killing the queen vampire. The other allied blood suckers had the opportunity to kill her, but managed to let her go.
At the end of the story, Stella is seemingly so desperate to find the answer. The death of Eben Oleson (Josh Hartnett) was revived by giving fresh blood as Melissa slashed her palm and forearm. The temporary of passing out of its senses, the film ended as Stella died in the presence of rebirth vampire of her husband.

Review:
The story started to hanging three women, whom they known as practicing witchcraft. The film showed the supernatural power of black witches. It will make you feel goosebumps, when one woman had awaken from death.

As I watched the war scene, it seems that the costumes worn by the knights were so clean without dirt. It contradicts the 14th century way of being warriors during that time. The film had depicted the strong faith to God against the supernatural beliefs against people who practices the witchcraft.

I got the second thought, why do they need to transport the witch to the monk's monastery. Since the church has the priests who can handle the supernatural beliefs. "Is that making the witch strong enough to out wit the priests in the church?"

The places along the journey were so spooky; it makes the thrill to shriek in fright. The black witch (Claire Foy) portrays a good role for showing the two sides of having angelic face and the showing the spell of deception in every member of the group, claimed by the priest (Stephen Campbell Moore).

At the end of the film, Nicolas Cage fought against the welfare of the fate of this woman. The demon had tricked them; the monastery place is one of his plans. After all the fight against the evil, it was overturned that the good faith always prevails. Cage died with his comrade knight (Ron Perlman), the only left is the young man who wanted to be a knight (Robert Sheehan) and the young woman (Claire Foy) released from being a witch.
